wouldn't do it myself, but if he starting from nothing and I suspect he is, he goes out does the windows and gutters and makes a few quid on the hope of picking up a regular window clean.
madness but understandable if he has not much to start with

I did the same thing when i started , :o
I had no customers at all , the first summer was a killer , i worked until 7.30 every day and all of me ached , but i was full up within 2 months , it took a while to get the gutter cleans done , but this i explained to the custys ,they were all cool about it but did remind me not to forget i owed them a gutter clean !
I would say i still have all the customers bar the ones that have moved or pegged it.
Was i MAD ........ I dont think so , it built the round in no time , and i was still on ladders back then .

untill they want them cleaning again, they will expect to be cleaned for free

i wont clear out gutters anymore.always hated it and it can be dangerous from a ladder.i always charged for them though.
sounds like he s desperate for work.mind you if he charges £50 for the windows(3 bed semi)with the gutters thrown in for free he will do ok!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
