I thought I had  ;D

Been using it today for a load of first cleans, it felt weird at first compared to the extreme because of the extra bristles, but being dual trim, it feels like it has extra scrubbing power and glides over the glass better than the White extreme. Some have said that the jets point up, but that is only if you don't get the angle right, I thnk the jets are also set slightly high than the extreme, which I like, and feel that it's good for rinsing on the glass.

Cleaning the cills is excellent though, and is something i have never been able to get clean properly with a normal brush with out having to hold the pole at an awkward angle, or adjusting the angle of the brush, but this brush does it brilliantly.

I didn't really notice the small increase in weigh either, some of the pansies on here may do though  :o

I would be tempted by the soft version, but I have always felt the that the bristles on the black extreme are a little fragile, and don't wear very well.

All in all, very impressed, I'm just waiting for the new fan jets to come out, along with the qr swivel and it will be near perfect.  ;D

We are not shut for 2 weeks.  :)  Some members of staff are away on holiday, which means that the workshop will not be sending out any poles. However the company is still open (6 staff still working) and will be processing all orders for parts and brushes etc.

The skeleton staff in the workshop will also be able to send out any spare sections and pole parts if needed during this time.

All pole orders that are placed during this time will be processed ready and will be fulfilled immediately upon return.

On your point about the MK2 DT you may well find that the new DT Medium Mixed may fit the bill.

Is the splay on the DT Medium Mixed the same as the mark 2 as I find the mark 3 has too much for my liking but ideal for fascias and conny roofs, got the extreme too but this stays on my 35ft slx as its on carbon goose neck.

The splay is the same as the MK3 (current), but has much softer bristles than the current brush. For those that like the compact bristle footprint of the MK2 the Xtreme standard offers a very similar experience.

 :D

I prefer fan jets, but as I was doing first cleans I wanted to get the cills clean, as I'm working on my own this week I could afford tom turn the flow up, so I was able to rinse well, but they do use more water, I willnbe fitting the new fan jets ones they co e out though

No  :(

As stated above the pole workshop is shut for pole orders until the 30th of September. All other components can be ordered and despatched as usual though.

Lee do you now use your sill brush as your everyday brush tempted to buy one as i have a lot of houses with deep stone sills think this might work better,  Mike

I havnt decided yet, once I get all these first cleans out of the way, I will stick the extreme back on and see if I prefer that. I have been using my 35 slx quite a bit this week with a black extreme anid I am really liking that brush too.

It's nice to have 3 excellent brushes, rather than 3 alright brushes. I think that having a cill and an extreme in you weaponry is the best option because there will be a job where one is more suited than the other.

i think the prob is lee, becasue it is new  it feels great and better than any thing we have,  when i first got mine i loved it  but have gone back to the extreme wide with fan jets, as it used to much water,  will wait for the new fans to come out and then give it a other try,  but i felt this way about a salmon brush i bought, loved it then went off it, then used it to day and it felt great again

Been using a cut down tucker brush for years. Been trying out the new cill dt brush........not bad, really light. Only fault with it is that it could do with more bristles as rinsing 'brush on' some gritty bits are left on the glass.
Use to working with 4 jets on a tucker brush whereas the cill brush only has 2 jets so the water splashes a bit too much for my preference. Would prefer 4 jets fitted as requested but it came with 2 so will have to remedy that this monday.

All it awaits is a decent swivel neck to fit the stock and it will be okay as my regular brush. verdict 9 out of 10.

Yep, something. For every eventuality.

Thanks for meeting me with the pole smithy, being using it a lot this week, it's so much better than the monster brodex I had before.

Hope you had a nice time away :)

Yeah I like the quick realease system, I think I only pulled the brush off once by mistake, but it's a very good idea.
