Title: goodyear 3000 psi solution hose

just purchased 25 and 50 ft solution hose (goodyear neptune 3000 psi) with brass quick conects...
used it before job tomorrow and had 2 leak marks on patio where new conections are. what!!! why??
what do i do before tomorrow?

wheres it leaking from? have they taped the threads before putting on the Q/C?

Yes its taped.. im assuming from their?! ill have a look! not sure if theres anything i can do?!  :-\

I would re-tape, may not have used enough, if you haven't got any, you could get some from B and Q plumbing dept now.

Probably just not tightened. When we buy them in they are never tightened up.

I bought a crap batch of Q/Cs last year, all the females leaked, like the spring inside was not closing off the pin so allowing solution to still flow through.

might be the same, just connect the hose without a tool fitted and turn on the pump.....you will soon see where it is leaking
