Title: volvo estate

has anyone had 1 of these for work  any thoughts much appreciated i dont know any one thats had any type of volvo

i know a crew of 4 men who  work from a volvo 740 estate, trad.    looks low key, dull red paint,old school ,  the right image

Yeah I`ve seen a couple , on my travels ,also a BMW estate , plenty of space in the back , take the back seats out and i guess you could put in a flat 350 tank too .
 I like Bobby `s comment understated , you dont want your customers thinking you are having it away ,, turning up in a new van ,, just keep it clean , for me that sends out the  right kind of message ,, but hey what do i know , its an opinion i`m offering you .

had a v70 as a family car + used it for quoting ... to be honest much prefer van looks far more professional..... But depends on what image you wish to portray..

if you intend on putting a tank in the back or using a trolley be aware of weight in the back   , you will damage the suspension over time . Mike

i new a plaster who used a volvo estate use to fill it up every day with plaster they run like tank he had no probs with it so i dont see why it wouldnt work ok

thanks lads, i dont want a van cos i've 2 dogs with me but i'm doing more & more wfp i've got an astra estate which i love but i need 10 - 25ltrs in the back also my ex says they're great in cold weather & yes i still pay her a lot
