Ask your 8 weekly november customers if they's like a special clean in the week before xmas. A few of them might like the idea giving you a bit of extra work and tips  :) (hopefully)

Darren,

Try to work out how much you need to earn each week, and keep knocking doors until you have more than enough customers to cover this. There is work out there just waiting to be found, and if you are determined enough, you will find it.

Try to keep a positive attitude, and try to be relaxed and friendly when you are speaking to potential customers.

Just out of interest, how long have you been window cleaning?

John

£220 is not too bad, maybe a few more custys would help though  ;)

the simple answer is you need more work!!!if you live at home with mum and dad then you should be ok with a another £100 a weeks worth of work but surely you dont have you own place? ???

leaflet and canvass as much as you can when not working (which should be most of the week!)and ask existing customers do they know anyone who wants a cleaner.

the only positive thing i can say is that you ve got plenty of space to build more work up and you shouldnt ever get behind at present!!

get pounding those streets mate

best wishes

dazmond

sell the work you have for 20 times it takes a month . might get 18000. enjoy the winter lounging about . then go back out in february and canvass it back up.  ;D

My first winter as well.
Have been going from May and have only over 120 customers, I am afraid that percentage of that might say "come back next year"
I  canvass every night to get things better.
The problem is, that I have family, daughter to support. Hope things gonna be fine.

Canvass Clean
Canvass Clean
Canvass Clean

ect ect ect .... u get the idea

however nowt wrong with taking a part time early morning job till round is full.

When I first started my round I worked a local frozen food warehouse from 4am till 9am @ £6ish an hour 4 days a week

Brought in about £500 a month and was tiring but soon stopped my having any "cant be bothered to canvass" thoughts as I hated the early starts and like I say was tiring doing that then onto cleaning windows but u gotta do what u gotta do to bring the coin in

Canvass Canvass Canvass

I had to start my business back up from scratch 3 years ago; Im still canvassing.

Cirrently got about £5k to do this month, most are bi-monthlies so I need to canvass for next month like you too.

Its a hard slog, forget the next 2-3 years of going out enjoying your time with family & daughter; its a nuckle down approach im afriad.

Good luck

Leaflet drops 7am-9am,then clean existing customers windows from 9am.Door knock from 6pm-8pm two nights a week and saturday mornings.Do this and you should have a full round in no time.I have added 247 customers to my round in 3 months combining the above methods.

when canvassing mention things like"we call once a month" not every 4 weeks,a month sounds longer "we work all year round" lets them know you work thru the winter. if they insist on 8 weeks add 50% don't be afraid to start of as you mean to go on,aim high don't get involved in pricing low just to get the work(i know its easy for me to say but it pays off) you will find the successful companies are usually the more expensive and act like you know what your talking about if they know you are new they will take advantage of it ;)
