Hi all,,,,
I know that this question is always on peoples mined starting a new window cleaning round. I would like the opinions of people, up and down the country. How do you feel about new windys coming into the area you clean, would you get nasty or would you just say thats business and i have missed out on that customer.
I believe if you cant be arsed to market and advertise your self properly then thats tough luck.
I think that only (some) windys are cowboys and dont know what business is all about, i think they should learn business before they get nasty with others. Likei say is it a lifestyle to make a buck...Or do you wnat great sucess.
One last thing....how many of you work alone and dont have a partner to help...
Cheers

It is a minor irritation.

Me until last week but now there are two of us and we can muscle in on other windies patches large-ing it all over the manor at johnny-come-lately and his shiny van and growling "gerroff-of-ourpatch!"

The only way you learn a business is by practical experience.
Having more than one cleaner in one area is competition. If you're better than them, you should be on your toes, but you're doing something right. If they are better than you, you have something to strive for.
Business is business.
