No, 99 gives you the same flow as you would get with no controller. Anything sub 99  is giving you lower flow rates. for a faster flow rate, you'll need a higher rated pump. Unless you currently have it fixed in a higher position than the tank?

Hi mate if you remove the flo con and use the pump on its own then yes it will be faster. i know this because i have done it.

why would you want to run the pump faster than 99 ?
im guessing you have the 3 button digital version .
is the flow rate not good at 99 ?

what pump do you have ?

i got a flojet from gardiners,  and need to run as a two man next week,  but have fan jets and need as much power as possible,  will give it all a try to moz and see what happens,  i use to be able to run two brushes with pencil jets no probs  but want to run fans

The fans could be your prob mate , i assume you have them already ?
If this is the case , your pump is gonna struggle to push the water through fans more so than pencils , due to the build up of back pressure you could find your pressure switch cutting in and messing everything up for you , when introducing a second pole .

Worth getting a second opinion though !

Yes i think the pump will go faster than going through a controller. By how much i dont know but i know my controller doesnt let the pump go full, it goes fast enough for me but if i didnt have it i would have more pressure.

I agree about the fan jets becoming a problem, one pole off one pump ok with fans but may struggle with 2 men one pump on fan jets...worth a go tho, let us know.

well  set it all up,  1 pump 2 reels 2 fan jets,  works fine,  even get it down to 60 and it still cleans,  left it running for a 15 mins, was fine,  will find out what it is like on monday  on a full day

Hi rich i run my shurflo 5.2lt 100psi straight of the van battery with no flo con for 3/1/2 hours today with fan jets with no problems what so ever. dave

ps i have got the 3 button digital version but some times 99 is not fast enough and on top of that i use 1.5mm jets

i tried to use both the pencils and jets on a brush i have at the same time and it didnt work as most of the pressure goes out of the pencils,  i wanted to run 2 brushes both with fans
