After watching that highly professional video compilation it gets a big thumbs down here!
There would be a tonne of foam over the carpet
very laborious & the final result was nothing to shout about
i get better results using a Mitey & microsplitters
but well done Cleaning Doctor for showing us what not to do!
You may be better of spending half that on a Mitey Turbo, Hydramist or even Karcher Puzzi?!

it looks alot of messing to me also but i don't really do upholstery at the moment but when i did i just presprayed with activator then hand scrubbed with a hand mitt using a chemical called allround then extracted with clean water the results were ok.

I like that battery buffer he has, is that a Dry Fusion product?

Not sure i haven't seen one before but it looks the colour to be dry fusion and no doubt they could supply one.
-
It's called a Roto Clean. £296, according to the DF catalogue that arrived recently.
-
Think i'd rather do it by hand then pay that lol.

Not impressed at all. The amount of foam left behind must surely cause rapid resoiling. But then on the other hand the next time the customer needs the suite cleaned they will get someone with a proper rinsing machine to do the job. Imagine trying to wash your hair or your clothes with that method, sorry , not for me either.

That's a lot of money for a battery operated buffer, eyemoot!

How much is the Dry fusion steam cleaer with vac machine?

I used to use a Von Schrader machine that was similar but the foam was a much different consistency.
The VS foam was really thick (and "dry"), even thicker than shaving foam out of the can. We were taught to vac it of immediately.
Things could be touch dry in a few minutes and so it was great for say coaches or cinemas where you needed quick turnaround and drying.
Shaun, it says £ 1,495.00

Prob plus vat as well..

Having a laugh!

TBH the video makes a pig of the system he's rushing it, if he'd cut down on the gab and concentrate on the job in hand.

Just found the steamer it's an Osprey SP4 at half the price and a trolley to boot!
Mark
Only had time to play with it once, I'm going to clean my carpets on Sunday, I did try it with 125ft of hose on and I was impressed it's very quiet I think the water pump is as loud as the vacs.

Think I will stick with the Holloway Swift Dave "Clean Machine" gave me.
