Title: BoB Club
Post by: Paul Millward on September 07, 2011, 08:24:42 pm
After completeing my 1st Commercial job (after another cc had been in and "cleaned" it   8) ) I was invited the local Business over Breakfast club. Having only just set up in the cc world I thought I would go along to it.  I hopefully have a few jobs to price up as a result (will keep you posted on them).  Is anyone else a member of these clubs or any other networking group and are they worth the investment of £500  ???

works for some but not for others, i'm put off by the pressure entailed in getting referals for other members, haven't got time to chase work for other people, and certainly don't want to spend time promoting others business when i can be talking about mine, and of course taking an interest in my customers. not saying it doesn't work, but be prepared to work hard for your breakfast buddies in return.

Jump in and grab that bargepole IF you have the interpersonal skills to make it work.  I was in the BNI for a few years and it worked well.

It does take a lot of time though.
