Thinking about getting some printed/embroidered clothing. Three things:
Do you have yours printed on the front, the back or both?
What do you have written?
Do you get much response from it, i.e. when in a shop/at petrol station etc?
-
We have polos embroidered logo on front, and name and phone number in vinyl on the back
It has got a few jobs including a a commercial.
-
It is always wroth getting not just to advertise, but to look smart and professorial.
-
Do you have a link Samson, or James?

Hi Joshem,
I have Rick Davis
Professional
Cleaning Services
I get them from Alexanders on the internet. lots of colours to choose from. I use a jade green polo with white writing front left nothing on the back. I think if people see you with a WFP or carrying a bucket of water it's a bit of a clue to what you are doing. ;D
Cheers Rickster

I always wear Printed front chest and back Polo shirts and sweat shirts over in winter.
Also have a printed jacket for winter work.
All printed with Logo and phone number.
Basically if I'm working am ALWAYS in a uniform of sorts.
I Also use blue 'Dickies' reaper trousers and decent boots. I never wear jeans or trainers!
Dickies trousers really comfy and very hardwearing and cheap, bout £12 + Vat pair.
As above post says 'look professional' Make the effort and it will repay you in work it brings in.
Get all my stuff printed locally, did a deal to avoid 'set up' charges.

www.dapadesign.co.uk . I clean this womans windows, she works from home and the stuff she embroiders is very high quality.
-
MPH Clothing (mphclothing.co.uk) - Excellent quality and service - I have embroided T-shirts front and back :)
-
I have Logo on Polo Shirts (fruit of the Loom ) not Ralph ) logo embroided on chest over breast. and logo and number across the shoulders on the back ..
I cant tell yo what i have gained in way of advertiseing , but I have always believed it has looked Profesional and for £150 anyone else can too

i saw a photo somewhere of Silver foil lettering on somebodys shirt back. that looked very eyecatching, a bit like something a trapeze artist might wear
i dont have any lettering but if i was going to get some, id look out for the silver foil style
i make sure me and my lads wear cheap dark colour trackies and cheap trainers ,this exactly fits in on the big estates whereas uniforms would not be welcome as much

funny you mention shoes, one of my lads was going to work one day with a trainer without a sole, can you believe that ! i refused to let him work, for H&S reasons and at 9 a.m. when the shops opened i bought him a set of £4.99 fake- denim deck shoes in Jonathan James shop. but they were too naff even for him and he has now upgraded to blue and yellow stripe trainers . the fake- denims are now reserved for "home & show use only " or maybe a publicity shoot
the beer mat hanging out is a new one to me, must remember to tell the lads ;)

get my sweatshirts printed by Stan in Bakers Yard, Marsh Barton.
Can't think of his business name ( Think its ACES), he is round the back of the Army Surplus Shop.
tell him I sent you, he'll charge you double! lol
Bit slow with printing but great quality, had my Sweaty's and Polo's for years, he does shirts for my Disco Business as well. Good guy, always up for a dirty joke!

i stumbled on the fact that jackets or hoodies by www.blueinc.co.uk are excellent for window cleaning. their stuff is expensive but no rubbish is sold by them . mostly their stuff has elasticated cuffs and waists which is a plus point in cleaners clothing
i have a fur lined blue inc hoodie reserved for winter use only, i acquired it secondhand and then paid a seamstress i know to repair it ,worth every penny too , its a cherished item of mine .
