Title: Oven cleaning start up
Post by: Gary Owen on September 05, 2011, 12:28:54 pm
Hi all,
can someone please advise me on the best way to start an oven cleaning business,
I already do carpet cleaning and window cleaning but have customers asking about oven cleaning and I do not have a clue where to start and what to use.

Many thanks

Gary.

Get some training as mistakes can be costly

Probably get shot down for this ;D

Seems costly when there are so many franchises out there... it amazes me how they all keep busy.... why not find a goood local guy meet and sort out referal scheme   ;)

I am ready to be shot down ;D ;D

why not just sub it out to a local oven cleaner rather than bodge your way through, and give him the customer by default.

I can give you the basic information for free when you buy one of our ovening cleaning dip units, You don't need to do a  two day course, however you do need to do some research into the different types of ovens, so you know how the doors etc. are removed without damage  ???.

Go to your local oven specialists and ask them how the doors come off.

two day course is not enough if youre going to do the job properly imho

plenty can go wrong splitting doors etc

ive seen a few costly balls ups  recently by someone in my area
