Hi all, I have been asked to provide a contract of service for a domestic house.
Need it in a couple of days if any one has one that I could use for a template I would apricate it.

is it a big job, if not run a mile

There's a chap around my way that does it, he makes it work to his advantage in that they have to have the service at required intervals otherwise there is a cancelations fee and the money goes straight into the bank via Standing order.
A contract of service doesn't have to only be in favour of the customer.

A contract is an agreement between two parties. True , they may be pretty standard as regards the situation between a window cleaner and a commercial premises, it is however unusual to provide a contract for a domestic house. If they require a contract the people you should be asking is the customer and what they want (and what you agree), not a blanket...has anyone got a contract i can use.....question here.

I have never heard of a contract for domestics.
This customer must have a good reason or is an idiot.
I would stay clear myself, Its just making a simple job more complicated.

I know what your saying, but I think they just want peace of mind knowing that we are going to show up again, maybe :s
Maybe a little list of t&c will do lol

introduce yourself, shake his hand, give him a business card and tell him your price, frequency and that you can clean his conny roof/fascias annually for him if he wants.
a quick explanation of your payments methods(cash on the day, cheque or BACS)
tell him you clean all frames, doors and sills as standard and that you work in light/medium showers and all year round.
note his phone number down as well as his address.job done!
if he wont accept the above then dont even take him on!
no need to make it more complicated than it needs to be!!
