Title: Telescopic Ladder
Post by: Lee Gilroy on September 03, 2011, 04:55:49 pm
What do you think of these ladders.

It looks good for fitting inside the van but not sure if it would collapse when standing at the top.

Has anyone used one of these ?

They look good.

Is there another place to get them from where I can pop out and collect them.

I bought one to try and see Halley`s Comet with it. A waste of money. No better than a normal ladder.

I've always been a bit worried about how you find out that they are no longer working as they should. Paul Middleton says his lasted a year but what happened then?

I only use mine for the odd flat roof access and the odd internal job works fantastic ,  I only use mine about twice a month . no complaints and the design ladders work alot better than the older design ,

And the idea behind having and using a telescopic ladder is so you dont need a ladder rack on van anymore, and its compact so will just go in the back off van .  and its a lot eaiser carry through a building for internals

The ladder runs held on by plastic and simply break over time have a look.
