Title: In the early stages of the business....
Post by: P. Atkinson on September 03, 2011, 04:33:06 pm
Hi all,

Basically, as the title states, I'm in the early stages of the business. I've been doing my best to research around to get some idea of what to expect. I have been working on how much start up money I will need (e.g. insurance, advertisement, uniforms, equipment, stationary, website design, etc etc) and I do have a few questions regarding the first few months of the business in terms of incoming cash, if anyone would care to answer them.

How long was it until you got your first customer?

How many customers did you have per week?

What was your profit margin?

Were you successful in the long run?

I would really appreciate it if I did get some answers to these questions. Obviously the initial start up is one of the most important things in business and I really want to get it right so I would like to get as much information as possible so my business will survive in the long run.

Thank you!
 :)
