Title: TRUVOX HYDROMIST COMPACT 14ltr OR RUG DOCTOR
Post by: AJP on September 02, 2011, 08:01:14 pm
Thinking of buying a machine for light domestic work (houses) and medium commercial (offices). I know all about chem dry  steam pros, ninjas etc, fancy a walk behind, its between Hydromist Compact 14ltr, and the Rug Doctor wide track, ( I know how virtually everyone on here hates the Ruggy). Is the Truvox hydromist really worth the extra money, as i can nearly get 2 rug doctors for that price? Let me know what you think? many thanks AJ. Turned down a cheap Victor sx15 the other day maybe i should of bought that. Tell me what you think.

This will be a little biased as we are Truvox dealers.

However, we honestly see more Rug Doctors in for repair than we do compacts and we have loads of them out there. There are loads of RDs out there. Probably due to the price.
Most common fault with them is the pump packing in. We have had 3 in this week all with the same fault.

Well I wouldn't have either of them given me. We waste more than they cost just trialling new tools .
