You are going to need to rinse away whatever chemical you use no matter what it is.
Why not just get someone to do it for you?

Hi
I just did my 1st graffiti job, it was on a sign. i don't have any of the gear but went to my local janitorial supplier and found some graffiti remover in a can, thought I'd give it a go for £9.95
Amazing stuff, it melted it within seconds and can be used on brick and concrete as well, I will check on the name tomorrow but called something like cello or sello and comes in a large can.
With brick you can spray on wait 20 secs and then scrub off and rinse.

Quite right Martin, on smooth surfaces, no problem but as you say, must be rinsed from bricks so you will still need some way of squirting water.
