My renewal quote for a combo 1.3 was 810! After a bit of wrangling they got it down to 740, I then went to another company who suggested putting my wife on as a named driver which reduced it by just over a ton. I then went back to the first company, told them about the new quote and they beat the other one by £50 after asking a manager to look at it ( !!!! ), result is insurance for £590 and thats with a tank in the back up to 1000l! Might be worth a go I always thought more drivers increased the premium, insurance is mad!

A few years ago i rented a flat with a mate. I put him on my insurance despite him being younger and had a bad crash a few years earlier and it reduced my bill by about £100! He also saved money by putting me on his!
