Can anyone tell me how I can convert the calls to my house number redirected to my mobile number as I think I may be missing out on some callers that might not want to leave a message on my answerphone when no one is in the house.
TIA

Contact your phone supplier and they will do it there and then for you.
Paul.

I do just that with NTL... it's called Call divert ... costs me £1.75 a month however I also have to pay for the landline to mobile call on my normal NTL bill which pi$$es me off when I find it's just another rep trying to sell me advertising space >:(

Conrad, try registering with the telephone preferential service (tps),i have a similar problem and this reduces it dramatically.
you can register online.

Done that already Paul, however as soon as I advertised in the local rag I must have had every advertising rep for miles around trying to sell advertising space in their publication ... off course they all have extra special rates just now and I'd be foolish to turn down the opportunity of
lining their pockets taking them up on the offer.

Does anyone know if TELE2 divert calls? I have been trying to divert my calls for weeks but BT who do my line rental say i have to do it through my call provider (TELE2) but tele2 seem reluctant to answer any calls (I was on hold for 56 minutes once waiting for an operative) i think they do this to stop people desubscribing?

Look in your phone book ;)

Conrad, I am with NTL and also pay for caller divert. It is the best move I made in this business it costs me about £50.00 a month extra but the increased business is worth it!! ;D

whats wrong with the good old 0800 No

Do you use NTL broadband ? . If so how much and what speed ?

When I ditched the answerphone and had my 0800 calls diverted to the mobile business inscreased 25% overnight. People will not talk to answer phones and go to the next ad.
The problem is that 0800 calls cannot be sent direct to mobiles, they have to go to a landline and be diverted from there, so BT gets you in the end. It costs but I think it pays me. I have a line that is permanently diverted to the mobile. It has not been advertised for 6 years but I still get people calling that it.

Tihson,
I have 2M broadband from NTL. I don't do much, if any, uploading or downloading so it's probably way over the top for what I need. Costs £24.99 a month if I remember correctly.
How's the Eclipse ?

I had NTL 1 meg for £17.99. I called them up and told them I could get the same speed for £9.99 from uk online and they matched it . I think uk online 2 meg is about £14.99 a month . give it a try and save some money !
P.S. Just had a play with the eclipse yesterday and i am very impressed ;D
