Average price to upgrade to hot water systems anyone  ???

£180 peter fogwills, just used mine yesterday on a 1st clean for 2 hrs, made a big difference. even that job alone nearly paid for it.

depends what system you want and how much you want to pay.

anywhere from 180 quid upto 3k

Steve-with that system, does it keeps the system warm overnight to stop freezing? Or do you have to put a heater in as well?

with mine it will still freeze but there is a switch they can fit where you can circulate it back to the tanks to keep it moving.

I will look at that this year. I'm not sure if they fit it as standard now.

I found that if i drained all the water out the system most of the time it would fire straight up

Looking through youtube the other day I notice there are dozens of 'how to wfp' videos, but only 1 with hot water. This one is Peter Fogwill's showing hot water coming out of his brush onto a wood board and then spraying into the air with a snow covered carpark in the background. Nothing of hot WFP in action - pity.

I will do a hot vid with my new gopro camera next time i use it.

I am just waiting for a quote from Facelift, twin hot system with a heater/blower with thermostat for those cold winter days ahead!

i ahve heard good things about peter i used to use his forum www.window-tools.com   , there is a trouble shooting link on the forum to tell you exactly what you need for the system , with tips and hints for making sure everything goes smoothly

i lost a bleed screw on it (to protect it from frost) and he sent me another one in post free of charge. so yeah excellent custy service. dont know why he doesnt advertise it better. and £180 as opposed to £2-£3k, yes i would say its worth it!

Hi mate I have a heatwave with a frost stat when it get to 2degrees it switches itself on and circulates hot water through the whole system only time I have offis when I cant get off my drive due to snow ,would not be without it now use it all year round
