Title: Thistle window cleaning
Post by: Skyewindowcleaning on August 29, 2011, 05:54:59 pm: THISTLE WINDOW CLEANING, GLASGOW

Any guy or gals out there sub contract to them? Had a message from them today asking if id be interested in a job.Phoned back but they must shut at 5, There based 240 miles away from me so assume they must have some national contracts.

Anyone know what contracts they may have?

Post by: mci services on August 29, 2011, 07:32:07 pm: yes they have lots of retail contracts, speak to lads weekly and know a subby who is happy with them, I was doing a shop for them in an indirect way, I subbed from the a guy they subbed it to, It could be any number of shops etc their lad is on our high street for a fair few hours weekly

We only have 5 national retailers in Portree so i thinks its either Boots or the Clydesdale bank they need done.

2 x RBS ( I do them already)
4 x Co-op ( Mitie do inside, floors ect not sure if they do windows)
3 x Bank of Scot
1 x Clydesdale
1 x Boots
Job center
4 x Post office.

All other retail is independantly owned.

2 x Calmac ferry terminals aswell.

it isn't their fault the company's decide to go national, they are only subbing from the main contractor anyway in a lot of occasions.

no mate I just know a couple of the workers, decent lads. as I said I only did a job that they subbed to someone else and it was a hassle for him to do. the shop has closed now and their lads do the other store in town
