Hi Guys,
I wondered if any of you are aware of an adaptor for a carpet cleaning wand to pick up water on floor surfaces such as tiles. vinyl.
Best I can describe is if you have a scrubber drier, behind has a squeegee. Any help appreciated.

There used to be one made by Numatic that cost about £40 that did the job. I'm sure they still do it.

Why not just get a hard floor wand?
-
That's what the Numatic thing I recommended is, just a cheap floor wand.

Thanks I will have a look. I don't see the point in spending £150 -£500 on a floor wand that just has a bit of rubber on the end. Sorry but that's absolutely ridiculously priced.
Worst case I will buy some squeegee and make an adaptor.

Well on that basis why don't you just sell your bloody machine and do all your jobs with a friggin mop & bucket!!!
What a ridiculous attitude to providing a PROFESSIONAL service.
Bonkers. I really am shocked at how people could have this attitude to the equipment they use to earn a living ???

Numatic wet pickup is fine, about 70 quid. Has no sprayer so just for actually sucking up. Fine if you have used a scrubber or rotary or just a deck brush to scrub with then use this to suck up.

I've actually made / adapted a wet pickup floor squeegee from a Truvox wet pickup
(Truvox wetpick no longer works).
I then had a few spare carpet floor wands one which is broken and cut off the front end with the sprays pipes- so just left with the 2inch round pipe and the truvox hard surface tool slides straight on over the 2inch pipe wand.
Cost me nothing and will do the same as if I had spent £150 quid - just tested on my Airflex pro. Works a treat. Just for picking up water.
See picture. Not bothered who take the mick. Saved me a lot of money and I can even get spares and new squeegee for under £15.00
