I have been wfp for over a year and used a couple of suppliers Brodex and Omnipole, both equipment came with guarantees.
The poles from brodex failed, and the trolley from Omnipole fell to bits within the guarantee, I tried to get the problems solved only to be fobbed off !
I just want to warn anyone who is thinking of ordering from these suppliers that they will not honour their guarantee when the equipment goes wrong.

brodex are a complete joke, there poles are garbage too!

try some other suppliers.
some of the best suppliers are gardiners especially for poles.far superior to brodex poles making your day easier with less strain on your body.great customer service too.
pure freedom also are good.i have used Window cleaning warehouse, windowclean centre also on odd occasions.very good service and products.

Yeah,I bought 3 Brodex poles, the Hydra Aluminium ones, came with a 3 year guarentee which meant nothing, rang them up after a few months of use when the poles themselves started bending, yes you read right!....the aluminium pole starting to bend in the middle of certain sections causeing them to jam and not close down properly, they too fobbed me off and then after a few weeks they had the cheek to send me an email promoting more stuff,I replied about after I bought the poles I will never spend a penny on their rubbish again which their reply was............................
We will take you off our mailing list then....................WTF........Too right you will! ;D
Omnipole on the other hand have quality aluminium poles which I have used in the past, not the lightest but built to last,I suppose you get what you pay for which I found with my Elite pole ;D

it is wrong you literally have to argue with brodex to get anything resolved. Maybe trading standards would want to know becuase it isn't right how they conduct their business.
I still use them as i have so many of them now where i keep adding poles when others break. i have had a few issues resolved free of charge but not all of them. Some of the deals they do are good too. The last one being a 31ft pole at 79 quid. That is a brilliant price.
I think they should take the guarentee of their poles. At least you know then where you stand. Because they don't honour them correctly. The clamps are too brittle and snap, the sectons do bend (although not had that many times) the lever springs wear out so they don't clamp as tight as new ones. the clamps always need to be glued on properly. The brush heads are heavy (i know thats not a fault) the hose always springs leaks.
Why do i use them? the sections are all intergangeable, the aluminium sections never wear down. although they are a pain because i have so many of them they keep my vans going nicely even if i do have to pay out of my own pocket most of the time when they go wrong.
