Hi
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBERSPACHER-D1LC-12VOLT-DIESEL-NIGHT-HEATER-/200643738126?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Commercial_Vehicles_ET&hash=item2eb74c7a0e
Fit it yourself or get someone to fit it for you.
Its burning diesel so the exhaust has to exit the vehicle.
You will need either a seperate diesel tank or run it off the diesel fuel line.
Just the parts are £700 to £800 new, so i dont think that is a bad price.

Hi Al long time no see as they say, what ever the cost will be its got to be far cheaper than the repairs your likely to have shell out for with the cold winters you get down in Swindon. I remember fitting your machine and it was not quite winter and there was Marks up the road from you I fitted in Feb and that was bluming cold. Swindon is not the warmest places on the planet from memory.
You know how the saying goes "Pay cheap buy twice."

Cheers Dave yes that drive home that night was a real giggle(not) as i aint a great driver in the dry without a new weight(truckmount) in the back and loads of snow still the machine although having had quite a few bits replaced is still kickin RRRRRRRs so i think the heater will have to be fitted.Just gotta find the dosh.Regards Alan..................Hope all is going well for you up north

Al nice to here things are going smoothly down under luckerly I was not in Newbury long enough to affect my speach ;D

Hi the least expensive way (cheapest) to keep the frost away from your T/M - a thermostatic fan heater and an extension cable approx £70.00 from Machine Mart. We supply one with all the machines we have fitted and never had a problem yet and we are in Gloucester not a million miles away.
Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian I have an old system like that now but Mrs aint too impressed with the extra electricity it uses along with having the cable out through an open window in the cold weather .I really need a system that doesnt need me constantly looking at the weather forecast and one were i could work away even if that meant my van sitting in a hotel carpark overnight.Regards Alan
