Anyone got any suggestions on the best way to do a traditional clean here? See attached pics

All i do is put my ladders on the top of the railings, clean above then move further down the ladder put my hand through the rails and clean. Hope that helps mate but i think it would be alot easier to clean them with something like an 8 inch squeegee because the windows look quite narrow

That's how we do it. Anyone got another way, let me know ;D
No drama's there really.

Thanks chaps, that's pretty much all I was going to do anyway but I haven't quoted yet and I just wondered if there was some cunning method.

hope you add a few quid more for the floor above it/probably need your triple ladder for that

Straight forward really!!!!!!!!!
Add a few quid on for hassle ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers guys. I'm doing the top windows using Wagga's wagtail on a (very big) stick method. I just did one for the customer as a trial and apparently it looked fine from the inside.

Those gaps between the rails are quite wide, you may find that the wagtail (on a pole) fits through very easily.

Possible but she specifically asked for the frames and cills to be cleaned so I think with the rails it will be quicker just to use a ladder.

hows your round going Chris? youve been at it a while now ,hope youre enjoying it and have you taken on many double bayers ?
-
Double bay as in two story bays? Yes, a few - they were my big issue at first weren't they :) Being a bit short I've gone for a wagtail squeegy and a separate swivelled scrubber and they give me better sideways reach. I've also got one of those wagtail angle adapters that's about a foot long in my pouch and I use that if I can't quite reach up. So I kind of have a system now - Hooray!!
The round is building up slowly but steadily thanks and I've had a surprising amount of one-off cleans recently because there is a lot of rented property round here (two universities) and people often do a massive clean at the end of tenancies to get the deposit back . I've been doing more advertising lately and that seems to be paying off but it is still a small round (just over £200 pcm). I haven't done as much door to door canvassing as I could have but part of the reason is that I also have a small PA hire thing (as in for music) that has been going quite well recently, so I haven't been feeling the pressure quite so much. And yes, I am enjoying it.

I think everyone share their experience with you about how you should do it. So best of luck.
