Title: Who you gonna call? Dirtbusters
Post by: steven Banks on August 19, 2011, 01:00:07 am
Came across this for sale on Ebay. I would'nt like them to clean my carpets. The equipment on offer is as weak as the van.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Carry-Van-2003-Carpet-Cleaning-Business-99p-/320744174454?pt=UK_Commercial_Trucks&hash=item4aadd7b376

The listing reads earn £500+ per day (puzzi 100 & vax shampooer)

That's a brilliant van ...............I've been using one for about 4 years ( but with proper cleaning machines ) and it's popular with the biggest carpet cleaning franchise in the world.

Be interesting what the conversion to the van is, just looks like an empty van to me with a puzzi and vax in it  ;D

Its  a bit sad hes spent all that money and not done any research into what a proper carpet cleaning business is all about  ???

Mpg must be fantastic, the payload (kg) 577 which is'nt too bad. Ok the van gets off, but can you run a professional carpet cleaning business with those machines? probly not.

Last month this person sold a similar van  A Mobile Catering Van that they bought for their Mum to start a mobile catering business but only earning £450 a day

Unfortunate mum has ill health so could not start

If it is a member of the Forum you have my deepest symphony suffering so much bad luck ;D ;D ;D

As you can see from the pictures, the van is truly immaculate inside and out.

But I'd call the Police if I were him......looks like someone has pinched the engine :D

Poor buggers not having much luck - Methinks he's too generous setting up businesses for his unreliable family. Perhaps he should make a living trading shabbily converted Super Carrys on eBay. Oh, hang on a minute..

I love the bare faced cheek of the words "no timewasters please" at the bottom ofthe ad!

In that case stop trying to sell us a pile of over-marketed junk!!

I quite like this  ;D ;D though the "engine" looks like it consists of an airhorn and some kind of pump and nothing else.

Got to laugh at the carpet cleaning van, the smallest van on earth "kitted out with all the  equipment you need for a successful carpet cleaning business" and still think i could fit half my house in the back.

Some poor sod will parted with a few grand of there redundancy money or savings, but suppose itll be there fault for not researching the business.

I love the wording....'The equipment includes a Karcher Puzzi commercial carpet cleaning machine'. LMFAO ;D

Making out that if it can do commercial - then it will easily be able to cope with a 'measly' domestic  ;D ;D

Chemdry franchisees have this van as do many tradespeople and I've had one for the past three years. Originally bought to service a retail contract with Texatherm system but also carried a Ninja with all the usual hoses, wands, buckets, etc.

I even managed to fit a Bane unit in it successfully and used that set up for about 2 years.

Currently accommodates a Cheyenne / Sabrina Maxi / 50 feet of vac' and solution hose plus wands and buckets ets.

Fantastic for parking and accessing small areas / pathways.

Think you might have misunderstood my post all I meant was in one of the pics it looks a bit empty in the back even though it was    kitted out with all the  equipment you need for a successful carpet cleaning business"

Wasnt questioning the van just the sale

I'm tempted..............

I could chuck in a Puzzi and the choice of a Prochem Cheyenne or Sabrina Maxi, maybe add on old Dyson and a load of chemicals.

Only problem is...............I don't have the latest technology - the Bex Bissell with HEAT.

Yep the Bissell is def the deal breaker here...
