hi - ive got a RO with a stainless steel housing (bought custom made so not your standard). the water inlet flow is controlled by a stopcock which controls the flow of waste too. anyone know how i flush it? im assuming i just turn the stopcock to full flow??
how long do i need to do this for? my tds after RO is reading about 24 - ive read this is too high? although after DI its 000
any help appreciated

Yes,open your valve fully to flush. 10 mins before each fill will preserve the life of your membrane. Adjust the valve to increase purity. What is your tap tds?

ive no idea on tap tds chap - ill check in morning and post back but thanks for the reply.
what tds should i be aiming for after flush??

about 5% ish of what your tap tds is. A few factors depend on your purity after the ro,but working at the mentioned assumption will be good
