Title: transfer pump

Hey guys i have on of those 400w dirty water pumps to transfer water however the hose connection is bigger than a garden hose, where can i buy fatter hose from does anyone know ?

what is the size of the hose you require? normal garden hose is 1/2inch

Screwfix sell 1 1/4" diameter

I have this stuff, it aint to clever, it splits very easily, infact my 10m length is down to about 6 in 5 months :(

Any decent aquatics shop will sell 1" or 1 1/4" hose that is more than up to the job.

I've had mine about a year and it's been fine.
Although I keep mine in the garage so it's not exposed to the elements which could possibly make it brittle.
Have you been keeping yours outside then?
