Hi
When the roofs appear really green, is that a job for a pressure washer or can pure water and wfp deal with this as thinking if it does it must take ages, do you price consevatorys as one or price it separate from the house, also do you do the roof? And does roof need doing once per month if you do. Cheers guys

NEVER take a pressure washer to a conny roof EVER - you'll blow the seals
WFP can deal with it - applying viro-sol / tfr / ecover will make the job so much easier.
When you start out cleaning connys, its going to take you a little longer until you get up to speed / know the best way of cleaning.
A dirty conny roof is a seperate price on its own and usually a one off unless the customer wants regular cleaning 99% of people only want it cleaning when its bad.
My conny cleans start from £40 (thats the roof, pointy bits and the external guttering). If they want the inside of the gutters cleaning, then thats extra.
Take a look at the conservatory page on my website to see the difference - i use
wfp with a vikan sill brush and a 5L garden sprayer with viro-sol
-
Thanks, what's viro sol then some king of pre cleaner ? I will have to look into this one, did I conserv today, but I did not price for roof, I just do the side windows.
-
Whats the best sprayer to pre soak the roof with as i wouldnt mind trying out this tfr but some of them sprayers dont look much good??

Lee - charged extra for the internal gutters to be cleaned out like that (£30 and took me about 35 mins to do)
All i did was clear the crap out by hand. Then i got the hose out with a pointy hoselock end that came out like a jet and scrubbed with a brush from my kitchen dustpan and brush set (must remember to replace it )

thanks blue frog,
