Hi Everyone
I'm a Carpet cleaner so don't tend to visit this part of the forum very often. However I have a problem that I'm hoping some of you good people might be able to help me with. Our cat had to go to the vet recently and to put it midly he isn't keen on goiing there and this time he weed all over the car seat. I rinsed the seat as soon as we got home but the smell is lingering a bit, wondered if any car valeters on here have come across this problem and have a solution.
Kind Regards

hi eddie i know prochem have a solution called urine neutraliser which you can use in your carpet machine, the stain might not go but the smell probably will. hope this helps

If it was me the cat would not have made the return journey. If you rinsed it thoroughly (b153 as above) then the smell well be there for a while as cats p is a right pain to get out. You have to remove the bacteria with ozone or try a222 - prochem products but don't expect too much

Replace the inner foam of the car seat

Inject the area with a hypodermic and urine neutraliser or Chemspec urine contamination treatment which is stronger.
Then use the vac hose of your machine to pull it back out to the surface again.
If you have a mini water claw even better.

Hi
Easy
Spray in a solution of bio persil (1 cap in 500ml of water) and leave to dry. That will destroy the bacteria and the smell will be gone and it will of cost a few pence.
