Just had a phone call from Enterprise, they're now operating out of Cardiff - I think this is a new area for them?

Absolutely. I would have liked to have spoken to the guy on the phone more but I was driving to a job and it caught me a bit unawares. Might start a 'we'll clean your carpets after enterprise' campaign..

i'd get on to trading standards ash, i'm good at maths and 70% off £8.99 for 2 rooms doesn't come to £40. ;D

It says that there is a saving of £107.01, so that would mean to clean up to 25sq mtrs would normally be £140.00. Yeh right >:( This flys in the face of their offers of £8.99 a room.

These people should be shut down as scammers - hopefully someone will report them!

Being from the area I've put the word out on some various forums and facebook.
I can't protect everyone from this scum but I can try and protect friends and family, perhaps if we all did the same if you should know anyone around the South Wales area we can limit the damage.

I've just checked - has anyone noticed these completely UNBELIEVABLE prices from Enterprise?:

It says that they charge £.079 per 33sq cm. 79p Per 33 sq cm!! That works out to this:

33sq cm = 0.03552sq ft. 1sq ft = 929sq cm. So this works out to 0.023p per sq cm x 929 (1sq ft) = 22.23

£22.23 per sq ft!! This is not even possible? Please tell me that I have worked this out wrong, cos now I'm confused!

Mark, I think it's meant to be 33cm = 1ft, so 79p per sq ft.

I've posted a bit on Facebook about it, and also e-mailed Groupon to make sure they are aware of the BBC Watchdog article, but for some reason I think that's probably the last thing Groupon give a toss about.

Yes your right Ash, I'm having a bad day!

But still thats £113.76 for a 12x12, PROTECT ONLY!

I bet they put this in small print and get the custy to sign it. So when they then sell it 'during cleaning' and just say that its 79p per blah blah (in passing) and the custy says ooh yes - they will then be presented by a massive bill cos they thought that if it is £8.99 a room 'it wont be that much'.

I can see it now. Ooh, my blood pressure is rising!
