at the moment i travel upto five miles but im thinking about going further out, how far do you travel for a day domestic window cleaning
-
I do 30 miles but have a full days work so feel its worth it
-
It all depends on what the work is worth mate
-
15 miles for domestic.
-
the bulk of my work is around twenty mile away .
-
My round is in patches. Very little is less than half a mile away but about 30% is within 2 miles. Another 30% is within 5 miles and the rest is centred on a village about 10 miles away. My furthest domestic account lies 2 miles from the village on the side furthest from me and is 12 miles from home - but I always do it with the other village stuff.
If I was offered a regular days work at "good rates" I would travel up to 35 miles to do it as long as I could start early. So all you cleaners needing holiday cover in Newport, Monmouth, Cheltenham, Chippenham, Frome, Bridgwater and Burnham on Sea and Flat Holm Island (google it!) may apply for my services!
For myself I am aiming to fill in gaps in my area rather than actively seeking elsewhere.
;D

15 miles,90% of my round is in a 2mile raidius 8 miles away

-

-
The bulk of my work is within 12 miles but my furthest regular job is a bit over 20 miles away. I will travel much further for the right money and have done so.
-
5-6 miles for me,
Thats plenty far enough ;D
-
For our Brit domestic stuff, in 6 areas we travel upto 45 + miles for a full days work. (200 quid approx) A couple of our areas are only 10 miles away. Shops etc are all within 10 miles (We live out in the country).
Gold says it all really. We will go international though, if there's a wad to earn ! ;D It's all about money to me, not comfort.
-
7 miles for domestic mite do more if the price is right
-
3 miles
-
3 miles
So just Hartcliffe and Knowle West for you then trips! :P
-
you forgot southmead ;D
-
20 milea on domestic and international for my events contract
-
65 miles. No I'm not joking.
I do a day a month in Bromley and Orpington. It's good money but by the time you factor in fuel and travel time it's no better than a local day.
So I'm getting rid of it soon.
It is too far.
That's the trouble with living by the coast.

its around about 20.00 in fuel so if its worth more than that in local work then its worth it?
I go 20 mile away as the prices are easily double, so the few quid in fuel is nothing, travel time would apply no matter what job i had , not everyone can work on there doorstep
-
Yeah I only took it on cos I lost an 800 quid a month job and needed the money.
Have picked up more work closer so will be chuffed to sell it on.

Erith you must live on my doorstep im over belvedere. what vando you drive??.

seriously you should think about travelling further if you can get the work, i do 30 miles each way each day pretty much. you should think about going further afield, last few years ive claimed back first 10000 miles at 40p and further miles at 25p (£20 - 24 per day or £5.5k per year that you dont get taxed on.) you are allowed to claim it as you are not travelling to a fixed place of work.

60 mile round trip to Exmouth. Pays well but costs £12 in Diesel.
My Grandma used to live in Bromley in Loxley Drive.
