Title: Spectacle (glasses) Cleaner Cloths
Post by: L.Doubtfire - The Blade Runner on August 03, 2011, 07:33:07 am
For people like myself on the group who wear spectacles ( glasses),
What do you use and would recommend as a cleaning cloth ?
At present I`m using that opti lense cleaner fluid combined with
Those small micro fiber cloths that normally come supplied with the
Bottle when purchased.
I find there`s something just missing with it,unless I`m not doing it
Right ? ???
Thanks for replies,

I worked for Specsaver for 8 years making them damm things!

If your lenses have no coating then a simple breath on them and microfibre will do it

If your lenses have a coating on them (ie; looks like a green reflection on them) you should buy some spray cleaner form the Opticians and always use a clean tissue or microfibre. They can look smeared if not done right

Every once in a while ask if they have an ultrasonic bath to clean your specs to prevent any greasy old skin deposits in your frame (your nose pads may go black and grubby)

"I just love it"
