had a custi phone me other day about scratch on her window ,went back today to see.window was really bad one really scuffed bad and lots of vertical scratch lines .had a look at all windows most had some scratches.but the patio doors were perfect.done with ionics brush for 18 months now a gardiners,cant understand why just this one house.any ideas ,thanks

see my post below re scratches with a mono brush. What did you say to the customer? Admit it was you? If so what are you going to do about it? Repair glass?

i use a duel trim ,turns out that they were painted not so long ago,really looks like a scraper was used. made offer to replace the one window that was really bad .she said that she didnt think it was us ,and she will pay for window.also i think the window is tinted dont know if that made the difference :(

defo the painter mate, i see this all the time, cowboys get thier finger prints on the glass, let them dry and then hack at them with a rust garden type trowl scraper, scratching all over the glass but magically missing the original finger marks !

i had one today, accused us of scratching his glass, this was 10 weeks ago when we there last, so a bit late in my opinion to accuse someone so long after it was supposed to happen, im sticking to my guns that we didnt do it, whether he will cancel is another thing!
