Title: Best L5 alternative
Post by: LBWCS on August 01, 2011, 03:29:52 pm
After many days and hours of frustration finally giving up on the L5. It starts and then stops after a min or so. Just cant seems  to fix it! So what else is out there?Cant seem to find any info on the Fogwash on Peters website. Seen this on ebay
 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12L-GAS-TANKLESS-INSTANT-HOT-WATER-HEATER-LPG-STAINLESS-/300501413775?_trksid=p3286.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D1755265695700040760&_qi=RTM687477
Anybody recommend any others and where to get from? thanks

 hi
this is exactly my opinion of the l5 spent more time faffing about with it than cleaning with it.

not found an alternative yet though i suppose its thermopure.

 cheers

I think i paid about £170 if my memory is correct (sometimes it isn't).
Dead simple to fit, comes with a flue if you ask for it so you can poke it out of the door if you don't want to go through the roof. My pics are too big for this site. Can probably email something.
No I can't I 've deleted them.

I did put a pic up on Matts forum - the one you can't mention on here.

I have one of those stainless steel ones,.. its ok,.. better than an L5, but I did have to fiddle around with it a bit to get it working fight. I reckon the fogwash is the best option at the moment,...

I have used the fogwash every day since January its been really great, the only time it does not fire is when you run out of gas or the batteries die.

Mine won't run on full flow, so I have to back it off a bit.

Why would you want full flow anyway?
