Title: What do customers remember you by
Post by: mark_roberts on July 29, 2011, 05:15:19 pm: Whats the most frequent thing that customers remember you by. They forget your name and business name but what do they remember of you?

Today had a customer who rang and asked are you the guy with the orange pipes that come into the house from the van. Yes says me. You have been here before a few years ago and I want to book you in..............

Makes you wonder.

It's quite a seriuos question, how to get customers to remember us.

A few have called me Doug the Rug over the years and I have said to customers if you lose my number just look up Doug carpet Cleaner on the internet.

Ha, had one of those yesterday. When I'd finished they realised they had never seen me before, but thankfully were happy with the the job and took a business card. Did make me chuckle though how insistent they were that I had been before
