I need to get some more leaflets printed... Do any of you guys have a template I could have a look at, as I need some ideas as my old ones are a bit "dated" and are too "fussy".
What do you find most effective? ie do you just go for the "Do you need a window cleaner" type or do you list everything you do?
Also where do you get yours from? I need some postcard sized ones (probably about 5000) in 1 or 2 colours.
My email is info@h2ose.co.uk if you dont want to put a pic up here...
Thanks in advance guys
Dave

Well anyway, I used a company called Ready Made Flyers a few months ago, thay have some designs for window cleaning flyers ready, you just send them the details you want to put on them.
Their website is still under construction, but the examples they sent me are here
(I ordered the 4th one down):
http://www.readymadeflyers.co.uk/windowcleaning.html
I ordered 5,000 flyers, not bad for £295 including delivery.
The only thing, they don't have a phone number, its email only which is slightly annoying, but the woman was quite good at getting back to me quickly. I would recommend.
I paid £25 for design
and £140 for 10 000 , sounds you paid well over the odds ? :(

Mine, ordered and delivery included from Warwick Printing, were £900 for 35,000 - A4 folded to DL.
Go large!

mine are really basic but have gotten me better results than most say..
all it says is
"XX Window Cleaning
Do you need a window cleaner?
Gutter, fascias con roofs bla bla bla
07xxxxxxxxxxx-windy
The thing with leaflets is,the highlighted bit is all they need to think about,do they or dont they? bin fodder or fridge magnet? all the crap about H&S and ladders or how pure your water is or how big your rod or your round is irrelevant to them

For any you guys buying flyers.. If your supplier adds vat or says the vat is included ask them for a reduction as you shouldnt pay vat on flyers....
-
really? why?

VAT added is wrong yes.
But VAT "included", strictly speaking is correct. Thats because VAT is charged on printed stuff at the zero rate, this is NOT the same as being "exempt". Strictly speaking, vat IS charged, but at zero rate, so you couldn't ask for a reduction.
So a supplier can legitimately say VAT is "included" because it is charged at zero rate.
But they can't add it, your right about that. (Though they can add it to the delivery charges)
