Title: Aluminium tread plate
Post by: chez on July 27, 2011, 05:14:41 pm
Hey guys....
What surface do you have for the flooring in your van. I have put down protectacoat 2 years ago but with getting the hose reels in and out of the van it has worn out the paint and now the surface is damaged and rotting the panels. Was thinking of putting down an aluminium tread plate to cover most of the surface to stop it once and for all .....£50 ish
Anyone tried this? let us know please
Cheers guys

My hose reel is in and out of my van I guess up to 10 times a day. It sits on a rubber floor mat when its in the van to protect teh vans floor.

Cheers Matt.....
do you strap the hose reels down cos it seems that the screws that I put into the flooring to secure the hose reels have not helped in letting water into the flooring?
Cheers

I have a bungee strap hooked onto a side panel in the van, it goes round the reel and then hooks on the other end.
