Can anyone advise on the best way to clean internal domestic windows. I've used the squeege - messy: I've used window cleaning products - Streaky
Anyone???????

sqeegee best, just needs practice to get right, try and catch water dripping off squeegee by putting applicator under neath, then mop up with micro fibre sill cloth

Water fed pole, just put an old sheet down to catch drips
-
small windows windolene or similar and wipe off with 1 or two microfibre cloths, larger windows trad way
-
Pure water and micro fibre cloth - apply water with plant sprayer ( 1 or 2 squirts per pane )
it's a little slower than a squeegee - but cleaner and no smears either

This may work on small cutups etc that are already fairly clean but on any larger dirty windows a squeegee is best.

Pure tech - OP has already tried squeegee and found it messy - also it's for domestic customers where
the windows are not overly big.

Hi Darran,
I do use the pure water (normal tap water is ok) and cloth method on very small windows but find it is impractical on average sized windows that need a clean.
The cloths get wet and dirty very quickly so always reaching for a fresh cloth, and a load of laundry to do.
I find squeegee brilliant on insides, it is just a matter of lots of practice.

A bottle with pure water and a dash of detergent. Put an old towel on the sill to soak up the liquid and squeegee off the glass just to save the microfibre as much as anything. Then finish with the microfibre.

The best way is to use an applicator and squeegee... Just practise at it - It will be worth it in the long run!

Thank for everyones input, I will try all the methods mentioned and obviously choose the best one for me. I think its sometimes personal preference.
Hadn't heard the Pure Water and Mircrofibre cloth method, so I'm going to try that first.
Many thanks :D

Depends how dirty the windows are as to what method to use.
If the windows clearly havent been cleaned for a while, then mop & squeegee .... if they are fairly clean then a microfibre cloth and pure is fine.
Try cleaning your kitchen window by the sink with a microfibre cloth and pure ... usually they are the dirtyest windows in a house. This will give you an idea of cleaning internal windows.

Do yourself a favour and learn how to use a squeegee, quicker and better

Traditional method , but i use more soap , it holds the wter together more , and try o catch the drips with my applictor , if you can clean 2 handed already , you will know , what i mean.
I aslo have an old bath towel in the van , to place on carpet , ( Patio Doors) , just as a precaution,

;D some funny guys on here, scrimmer73 has it pretty much summed up, just learn how to clean windows properly with an applicator and squeegie and you will be fine as mike g said as well,
