I have a large job starting in Liverpool next month. I will be recruiting staff locally where possible.
Most of the work will be general cleaning (builders clean) however a large part of the job is glass inside and out.
The wages are not great compared to what a window cleaner can earn once on your own but the experience could be invaluable to someone starting out in this industry.
I expect the job to take about 3 weeks for a team but the glass should only take a week.
If you are starting out in this job or know someone who is and have time on your hands we could help each other.
I need someone who has a basic understanding of hand tools or maybe wants to get faster plus wants to learn how to use wfp.
I guarantee by the end of the job you will be proficient with both ways of working, plus you will have me on hand the whole time to help in any other aspects of setting up your business which you may have problems with.
Please email me at info@purerclean.co.uk

in other words you want someone to do a builders clean for peanuts, did you quote the job for peanuts ?
an awful lot of window cleaners wont touch builders cleans and some will even price themselves out of it including myself so I doubt someone would do it for peanits but good luck.

I never work for peanuts, which is why the price I put in was a good price making me a very tidy profit. Your right about many window cleaners not wanting builders cleans which is why this particular client was having problems.
They sacked the previous contractor due to poor workmanship.
My price was very good, and the client was more than happy to pay a premium to get a quality job.
There are 10 of these jobs a year for the next 10 years being planned so providing I keep the client happy I am delireious. ;D
As for paying peanuts and taking advantage, I will be offering the same rate of pay that I pay my full time staff. That may not be enough for someone who has been going for years but it is enough for many.
I can easily go to an agency for the staff I need for the general clean and do the glass myself or send one of my lads to do it so there is very little financial gain in it for me to offer it to someone local.
I should have known better than to offer to help someone on here. ::)
