Working away yesterday in the rain >:( and bloke next door comes out and says "How much for a 1 off ?"
told him normal price is £10 so would have to be £20 ... goes to check with missus and comes back and says go ahead.
I asked him why not have a regular clean and he said gate always locked and only here very occasionally during day ...... tells him I can text night before to leave gate unlocked.
Him and her well happy and now regular customer ..... I did say the text is not for permission or to see if they wanted it doing thought which they seemed to understand .... hopefully :)

Did you still charge the £20?
-
good luck with that !
make the most of it while it lasts - just strikes me they will cancel come oct, as 'rarely in' and it's dark so it doesn't
matter if the windows are dirty !
sorry just a bit cynical today !

no as regular customer now ... naive some may say but have never charged more for a first clean and been caught out just the once.

Lucky you then. If the windows are really dirty I always charge more for first clean now and I haven't got a full round as I have been caught out a few times. If the windows are clean I don't charge more.

I'm similar in that I don't usually charge more for a first clean (unless it's really bad), but I will if I suspect the customer is 'dodgy'.
