i live in housing association, my weekly service charge £8.68.
1.56 of that goes to window cleaning, thats £6.24 a month there is 54 flats were i live!
my question is : is there housing making profit on that? as 54 flats x 6.24 = 336.96 per month seems a little high to be charging for a window clean.
only ask as i have been asked to quote for a different housing firm!

336.96 for a days work, is ok i suppose,

How long would they take one w c to clean? are there balconies to climb over? the ones i do are a pain, i couldn't do them all in a day
-
How many windows per flat?
-
The question is how often are they cleaned? If monthly then it's not too bad I'd have thought.
-
i would say yes they make money from that, and would say the price was alittle hgighbut hard to tell without looking at job.
-
there may be a charge for gutter cleaning in there too.... plus the rat man on top then your at your weekly charge
-
what you pay in service charges are way above what the window cleaner gets paid by the housing association for cleaning the windows.you will also find most housing associations only have the windows cleaned bi-monthly. To actually get the flats you would be expected to come in at around £4 per flat per clean plus £1 per window per clean for the landing windows.

Just came up with a good quote to put in to the housig assocition n question (now new question!!!)
do i summit the quote for per monthly clean or annual clean?
feel nervous for putting the annual os as it looks massive!
