Hello I've converted to WFP not that long ago and I need some advice about how I can reduce the amount of water I use to clean windows , I've got eight 25ltr tubs for my trolley system I know I could have a van mounted system but my budget is limited at the moment , I want to pick up the pace abit and earn more but I use about a tub and a half on an average three bedroom semi. I've got a digital flow controller on my trolley I've tryed to reduce the flow to about 15 - 20 but the water doesn't seem to jet out much at all , I normally have the flow at 40 and the water jets out nicely but I go through alot of water. One chap from the firm I bought it from said that I can expect to clean two houses with just one 25ltr tub , so I'd like someone if possible from North Shropshire to give me some advice on how I can improve my technique and manage my water better.

You need a pole tap or trigger on new estates I can clean 3 houses with 25 litres.

First off Welcome to the clean it up forum.
as its been said by doctorwindows one of your best bets is to get a tap ( on off switch ) that can save you a lot of water..
another thing you need to remember is that you have just changed over to WFP, and speeding up and knowing how much water is needed will take time.
but what you can do is practies on your own windows and see what results you get when you use less water. Then you will know just how much is needed , remember that first cleans do use a lot of water so dont scimp on that ;D
all the best m8

A first clean can sometimes use three times as much as subsequent cleans. I cleaned 13 houses today including two first cleans and a conservatory roof and used 11 barrels. The first cleans took two each.
