Title: Uk Average
Post by: Bob Robertson on July 21, 2011, 03:17:04 pm
Looking to find out the UK average commercial price per m2. I know there will be different prices for London to other areas but looking for an average across the board.

Need an example job Bob. Is it carpet tile, broadloom, hotel or office, hundreds of metres or thousands? Restoration cleaning or maintenance visits?

Jamie

I need it for a large cleaning company that do national contracts. They do all the Santander's for example.  The director asked me if I could find out for him.

I get quite a lot of work from them up here.

Richard

Your not joking. ;D

In that case you are referring to Commercial Work

There is no difinitive answer to your question but you will certainly not get volume work off large companies that will pay you £175 per hour. If you want to have a chat Bob give me a ring on 07788621555. Many of my large regular contracts may work down to 40p a square mtr.  You would be better of looking at a specific job and calculating the time that the job is going to take etc then working back to a square mtr price. Whilst you might be working for 40p a square mtr when doing upwards of a 1000 mtrs I might on the next job be working for £25 per mtr if it just a small bathroom carpet.
good luck Bob.
regards

Peter
