They`re ok for calls but not so good at excavating.

I have destroyed 3 phones in the last 2 years, so now I have the Samsung Solid Immerse. I can't fault it waterproof, scratchproof screen and can be dropped 2m without damage. Look for it on youtube it is a good phone. I have dropped it into a bucket of water to test it and it works fine!

After breaking a NoliaN95 and it's replacement, I also bought a Samsung extreme phone. Still drop and bash it but it is proving to be up to the job. Small screen though.

i have looked at this phone Samsung Solid Immerse and it dose look good and would be great for our line off work

I just have a £20 phone and its fine. The last one was about six years old when it packed up. A phone is just a phone to me not some posy status symbol. My son spends more on one of his phones than I have spent on all of mine put togeather. And his phones don't seem to last as long as mine.

i have a small fluorescent dog collar fixed to my phone with a tiny cord i bought up at the market. this means that the phone cannot slip from my hands easy when up my ladder etc
-
ive got one of the htc smartphones.i love it but the screen is hard to see in bright sunlight.ive got a skin on it which protects it when out working though.i find i look after my phones now i dont drink anymore.i used to be forever losing or damaging em when copious amounts of alcohol were being drunk!not sure whether this phone will last 2 years which is when i normally upgrade.
expensive on pay and go.cost me £300 to buy.i could of bought a new pole for that amount of money!!still ive got a fairly new slx anyway!(april).
regards

I'm the same, Vince.
1. Does it have the capability to make and receive phone calls - check!
2. Does it have the capability to send and receive texts - check!
3. Does the battery last 4 or 5 days - check!
That's me happy.
