Title: Stone windows
Post by: Ajpick on July 06, 2011, 07:34:28 am
Hello,

I've been asked to clean some stone windows in a listed building that have become black with mould on the inside.  Does anyone know the best product to clean them with?

Thanks for your help.

I would have just used bleach as that kills mould but I am sure someone is about to post a response that says something other than that. Trouble is if the conditions are suitable for mould now they probably will be in a few weeks and it will return.

You need to find the cause and source of the mould and then cure it first.  To clean mould you need to be wearing full PPE.  Give one of the Tech Staff a ring at the National Flood School in Farnham!
