Title: New pure freedom hose reel

Thinking of buying the new design hose real looks  well built got 2 gardiners at the moment worked well but setting up 2rd van with 2 new reals has anybody got the new pure freedom reals and what do you think them.

Hi David, I was actually thinking of buying two of  these myself,and also would be interested to find out what there like compared to the old design,i know if you want to van mount them you can buy a  foot pack,not sure how much that is as not on the website yet.

the only problem i see, is that the sides arent much hgher than the hose in those pics.
and on my wintecs hose reel, now the hose has stretched a little it fills the whole thing and rubs on the floor when winding it in.

I think the fixing kit will raise the hight slightly,but i have'nt seen any pics of the fixing kit yet,so not too sure,but i think they look better than the previous model.

I have one of the Gardiner reels and it's excellent.

Think they look really good, but like someone else said unless you reel the hose in perfectly I could so it getting tangled over the side as does seem a tight fit, 70-80 metres would probs be best, may order one myself.

The Gardiners reels I have work great.Will buy 2 more from them. What I can't understand with the new reel from p/f
they spent a lot of time and money making this but still the sides are to small to carry 100m of hose The engineering to the reel looks great just sides need to be much larger to allow for better room for the hose. But in saying that aren't all hose reel made the same. If they cane re design the sides (higher) I believe they will have the best hose reel on the market for the price.
