Title: nicotine removal to textured walls?
Post by: Joe Rollings on July 04, 2011, 07:21:34 pm
Hi All,

I am due to go out and quote an EOT clean and have been advised that the walls and ceiling are heavily soiled with nicotine residue, can anyone advise the best chemical to use or would steam cleaner be best, also the walls are not smooth, they have some sort of textured covering a bit like what you would find in a caravan?

Thanks in advance

Joe

Hi

Brillo degreaser will melt it off the walls.

Apply a strong solution and watch it run down the walls, either put something at the bottom to soak it up or go over with a sponge in a soap solution (fairy or bio persil)
