Why don't you want to go door knocking?
I think the majority of letters like that would just get binned?
-
Maybe add a line to say how much the average price per house is in this area.
-
i have done door knocking but have found the customers that i get this way are the ones that pay late and mess me around :( that why i don't like door knocking

im thinking about putting a average price on the letter with a little note that conservatorys will be extra ect.

Yes I can relate to that, the only thing I would add to that letter would be an estimated price, if you know the size of house etc.
That way all the customer has to do is decide yes or no and book you in. The whole quoting thing where they ring then you go look puts people off

too much info , all you need is your name address phone number
-
I personally think it is spot on, might copy it for myself as I'm actively pushing the domestic side. Prefer sticking to a monthly clean though
-
Great move, I do something similar called neighbour nudger it starts!!!
Dear sir/madam
We currently clean number 45 la la lane....
And then go on about the benifits of our system etc.
Send me your email and I'll send you a copy if you like..

I would change the line, if you need to if you would like. Its just a bit softer but good letter

'windows above 1st floor and above, frames and sills clean as standard plus genuine competitive prices'
should be changed to 1st floor windows and above. The repetition of above doesn't make sense.
Then a full stop before 'frames and sills clean as standard plus genuine competitive prices'. Plus it should be 'The frames and sills are cleaned as standard, plus genuine competitive prices.'
If you are going to impress me enough for me to take you on, I need to know you've bothered to check the letter reads well.
Dont mean to sound cold but I think its important. Some people wont notice, some people would throw it in the bin because of it.
I remember I ordered hundreds of canvassing flyers from the FWC and it was full of grammatical errors, and ended up having to make my own

I think it's pretty good. The way we do it is post a similar leaflet, but telling them we will be calling in the near future to see if they are interested. I know it's door knocking, and we get a few messers, but we get alot of good custies that way.Messers can always be replaced later. Go for it mate.

I'd leave a space on it so that instead of vaguely indicating a house near them, you can put number _____ where you fill in the house number you've cleaned before posting it. That way they can check the quality of your work. You need to confirm with the peope whose house number you're writing in, of course, as they need to be OK with it.
