Title: Upholstery chemicals

Last few times i have done upholstery they have been filthy and quite hard work i just wondered why we cant just hit some of the synthetic ones with powerburst, ultrapac etc and acid rinse, rather than the lower ph presprays that are recommended.

Interested to know if anyone does or what stronger presprays they use on upholstery

Mainly use pre spray gold on upholstery,have also used fabric restorer in the past,and sometimes multi pro.
Find I get the desired results with those

You can!

Key to cleaning dirty suites are high temps and higher pH chemicals.

I cleaned one the other week with Ultrapac, came up a treat.

You have to know what you are doing and whether the fabric is pH sensitive, so for newbies it is best to stick to lower pH's but as you get more experience you can adjust.

Always pretest and allow a few minutes to see if there are any colour changes or bleed.

It is also possible to rinse more effectively using a TM and dry master tool so be careful if you are portying.
