Title: Chicken or the egg?
Post by: Happy Jack on October 14, 2005, 11:37:50 am
Some of my biggest questions I would like to ask are...

I know I have to get my flyer's sorted out and to go out onto the streets door-to-door canvasing. Do I buy my equipment before hand or do I wait until I know exactly what the response is like before doing so?
What time limit do you think I should set between getting a new customer and actually cleaning their windows? In other words, do I canvas an area for a day and return the following day to clean my new customers windows?. OR. Do I canvas a number of areas over a week and return the following week to start cleaning?  :-\ ;)

I have only been cleaning windows for about 2 months now and even so I still have to work another job whilst my wc round builds up.
What I did was deliver leaflets and door knock, I said my price and if they accepted i cleaned them as soon as i could.
The longest anyone had to wait was 5 days.
